Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Altacee Digital Solutions uses cookies and similar technologies on altacee.com and app.altacee.com. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a web server when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device on subsequent visits and store preferences or session state. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags (web beacons). This policy covers all of them.
Cookies set by altacee.com are "first-party" cookies. Cookies set by our service providers — analytics, support tooling, advertising — are "third-party" cookies. We minimise our use of third-party cookies, and we do not permit ad networks to place tracking cookies on our properties without your explicit consent.
Cookie categories
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the website and product to function. They enable core capabilities such as authenticated sessions, CSRF protection, and load balancing. You cannot opt out of these cookies; if you disable them, the service will not work correctly.
Functional
These cookies remember your preferences and settings — for example, your chosen theme, language, or dashboard layout — so you do not have to re-configure them on each visit. Disabling them means the service works but may lose your preferences between sessions.
Analytics
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website: which pages are most visited, how long sessions last, and where users encounter errors. We use this information in aggregate to improve the product. Where possible, IP addresses are anonymised before storage. These cookies require your consent in jurisdictions where consent is mandated.
Marketing
Marketing cookies are used to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and, where you have consented, to show relevant advertising on third-party platforms. These cookies are only active if you have given explicit consent via the cookie consent banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by re-opening the cookie preferences panel.
Cookies we use

|---|---|---|---|
| altacee_session | Strictly necessary | Maintains your authenticated session in the product console | Session (expires on browser close) |
| altacee_csrf | Strictly necessary | CSRF protection token for form submissions | Session |
| altacee_consent | Strictly necessary | Stores your cookie consent choices so the banner does not reappear on every visit | 12 months |
| altacee_prefs | Functional | Stores UI preferences such as theme selection and sidebar state | 12 months |
| altacee_anon_id | Analytics | Pseudonymous identifier for product analytics; IP is anonymised before storage | 6 months |
| altacee_utm | Marketing | Captures UTM campaign parameters to attribute signups to marketing sources | 30 days |
Third-party cookies
Some pages embed content from third-party services — for example, embedded demo videos or support chat widgets. These services may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. We only load third-party scripts that set non-essential cookies after you have given consent via the cookie banner.
We do not currently allow advertising networks to set persistent tracking cookies on our public website. If this changes, we will update this policy and require fresh consent.
How to manage cookies
You can control cookie settings through several mechanisms:
- Cookie preferences panel — click "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page on altacee.com to review or change your consent choices at any time.
- Browser settings — all major browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies. Refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will break authenticated functionality.
- Opt-out links — for analytics providers, opt-out mechanisms are documented in the relevant provider's privacy policy.
